A qualified urban designer, Matt joined CODA in 2004 during its first year in business and has been instrumental in overseeing the firms capability to deliver significant residential and mixed use schemes.

Matt is responsible for managing a growing Architectural and Planning consultancy practice. He applies a hands-on approach and is passionate about driving design excellence and consistency from initial concept through to delivery on site.

Matt’s strength is working with clients to fully understand their requirements, and developing our designs and processes to ensure we deliver what they need. He adds value by ensuring that designs effectively meet the client’s vision, maximises the value of the site, and operate efficiently for end users. Working collaboratively with project teams, he has guided many of the firms significant schemes through their feasibility and planning stages, including Great Central, Hoyle Street and Cotton Mill Row.

With over 20 years’ experience, Matt has built relationships and trust with people in the industry, resulting in repeat commissions and close working relationships with key clients, stakeholders and trusted consultants. For Matt success is about identifying and working with the right people and building trust in those relationships. It is very important to him to be part of a team working to achieve something stronger and better together, and sharing a deep sense of satisfaction with the completed project.
